Walk To Emmaus: A Three-Day Spiritual Retreat

Here is a great video from the Upper Room. It echoes the voices and sentiments of many of our own North Georgia family. Please take a moment to listen to the story, and hear the expressions of joy and thankfulness these “pilgrims” have for their Walk To Emmaus experience.

What is YOUR excuse for not going? Will you let it rob you of a wonderful blessing?

Ministry Manager Update

Ministry Manager (the ‘database’ used by NGWTE and other Emmaus communities around the world) has a new feature – you can now send and receive messages in Ministry Manager within our Community.

Emails were scheduled to be sent to you from notifications@urmm.org on June 9, 2021Please ensure that your email address is up to date in Ministry Manager. If you have not received the email by June 10th, check your junk or spam folder or simply add this address to your ‘do not block’ addresses.

In order to use this function, you will need to update your email preferences in Ministry Manager. You can do this by simply logging into Ministry Manager and following the prompts.

There are 3 options under email preferences:

  • My Community allows you to receive emails directly from your Community and could include messages such as Community prayer concerns, Team Service opportunities, Reunion Groups, and more.
  • The International Emmaus Ministries Office allows you to receive the bi-monthly Emmaus eNews as well as emails informing you of International Service opportunities, Fourth Day Resources, and giving opportunities from The Upper Room Emmaus Ministries Office.
  • The Upper Room allows you to receive a 30-day free trial of The Upper Room daily devotional email edition, as well as one-time information about other email newsletters from The Upper Room, and other programs ministries of The Upper Room such as the Academy for Spiritual Formation, The Upper Room Prayer Ministry, Discovery Weekend, and Journey to the Table.

Thank you for your continued partnership with The Upper Room and Emmaus Pilgrims around the world.
