Walk To Emmaus: A Three-Day Spiritual Retreat

Here is a great video from an Emmaus community in Woodlands, Texas. It echoes the voices and sentiments of many of our own North Georgia family. Please take a moment to truly listen to the expressions of joy and thankfulness these “pilgrims” have for their Walk To Emmaus experience.

What is YOUR excuse for not going? Will you let it rob you of a wonderful blessing?

Upcoming Community Gatherings

One of the best ways to stay connected with your Emmaus community is to attend a Gathering. Whenever possible, Gatherings are held on a monthly basis at various churches throughout the North Georgia area. It is a great opportunity to refresh and renew your Emmaus experience. Additional gathering dates will be posted when they are confirmed.

Date & Location
May 5, 2017 @ 7:00pm – McEachern Memorial UMC
Oct 2017 (TBD) – Mt Pisgah UMC
Nov 17, 2017 @ 7:30pm – Hillside UMC

Accepting Walk Applications for 2017

The 2017 Walk To Emmaus Application is now available online! Please download and print several to have on-hand as you prayerfully considering sponsoring a Pilgrim. You may wish to review the Sponsor Information available on this site. If you desire to attend an Upcoming Walk, you will need to be sponsored by an Emmaus community member. To get connected with a sponsor, please email sponsorship@ngwte.org.

NGWTE Brick Fundraiser Program

North Georgia Walk to Emmaus recently launched THE BRICK PROGRAM to support our community. By funding a brick on the path at King’s Retreat, you are contributing to the scholarship funds for Emmaus, Chrysalis and Face To Face. In addition, funds will be used for the maintenance and upkeep of King’s Retreat.

New Members of the NGWTE Community

If you have recently completed a North Georgia Walk to Emmaus weekend (OR if you attended an Emmaus or similar three-day weekend in another community and you now live in the North Georgia Emmaus area) we would like you to be involved in what is going on in the NGWTE community. Look under the “Connect” menu item above to see several ways you can do this!
